iBook G4 logic board problem fixed?

Did they fix it or not?
I am shopping for a new computer and deciding between the iBook G4 or PB15".

I think it would be a waste to have a PB 15" and only surf the web on it. 😀

the issue usually startsabout 2-4 months after you've had the machine ...
 
I am sure they fixed the problem with the g4 - but I wouldn't buy one after my experiences with the G3. Go for the Powerbook! I should be getting mine today or tomorrow!
 
What logic board problem are you talking about? I have had a G4 iBook since Nov 15th or so and have not experienced any problems.

I have had 3 iBooks in my office go bad with the same problem -- logic board aka motherboard. They are all working fine now, but I was wondering if they fixed this.

I haven't heard of it effecting the g4's yet...but I am sure Apple was smart enough to fix the proble, befire they released it.
