Favorite App

I've feel in love with the Remote app. It's so nice to just be in my room or living room and flick on my iPhone to check out my itunes library and play a few songs. I also like having it next to my laptop as a remote for itunes when I have other things running and don't wan't to open itunes to pause my music real quick.

So, what's your favorite app?

I'm pretty blown away with the Texas Hold'em App. The avatar difficulties and personalities could be a bit different, but the interface is amazing. Especially from landscape to portrait where the screen goes into video mode of the players. Really sweet.

Also, I've been a SplashID user for over 6 years and the iPhone version is great. They implemented wireless sync and it works flawlessly, which I was curious how they were going to do it. Basically, SplashID is also a desktop version for keeping your passwords, etc. on. When you have the iPhone app installed, the first thing it asks is to make sure the desktop app is running. Then through WiFi, just like Remote, it connects to the desktop app and syncs quickly. Awesome!

My only actual "app" is MLB.com At Bat. It's pretty good, but could use some more features.

I'm really impressed with MotionX-Poker. Amazing dice action, and great gameplay.

Shazam is one of my favorites too! It always comes in handy whenever I hear a song I don't know the name or artist of.
My two other favorite apps are the Facebook app and Pandora radio.

Wow, hard to pick just one.

Ones from the App Store I use on a daily basis are FizzWeather and Todo. I also have Pennies, Wide Email and Bank of America on my first screen.

Facebook and Twitter are used often. Instapaper Pro has basically replaced RSS feeds.

Good question,

I would have to go with Safari and Triss (not longer in the app store)

Galcon - On the one hand, I can't put it down. On the other hand, playing online raises my blood preasure! But all in all, it's probably my favorite.

2nd Favorite is a tie: Google Maps and an NBC Traffic Cam app that shows me the freeways around DC in real-time. Put together, these 2 apps are AMAZING at helping me avoid the worst traffic jams.

And I just got it, but MobileFiles (connects to iDisk) is quickly finding its way to the top of my list.

Strangely enough I find myself playing blackjack a lot (I'm assuming you include games as apps). It's a great distraction if you need to kill only a couple of minutes.
