Hi everyone, apparently people who buy iPhones as new in the Apple Store are able to buy Mobile Me for a discounted price, (like £40 instead of £59). Unfortunately for me, I have the old iPhone, which I can only upgrade in O2 - I can't upgrade in the Apple Store. So I said "If I upgraded my iPhone in O2 and brought you the receipt will you give me Mobile Me for a discount?" They said no, so I asked "Is Mobile Me available under Student discount?" and they said no...

Since I really would like Mobile Me AND the new iPhone 3G I was wondering if I could cancel my current iPhone 2G contract, buy an iPhone 3G and get the Mobile Me discount, all without incurring a cancellation fee? Thanks for your help. And in case you didn't notice I'm in the UK with O2, not AT+T.
