I've used Diva with the 3ivx codec to create (a legit) copy of one of my dvds....through Quicktime Pro i exported it as a .mp4 movie file. Its 1.34 GB and looks great.

My question: I can't find an easy way to split this mpeg4 file so that i can fit it on two CDs. I've tried a simple unix split command, but that screwed everything.

I can split it in Quicktime Pro with no problems, but there is no way to gauge whether I split it in the right spot and is very tedious.

Any thoughts/programs?

anybody?
All i need is something that splits mpeg4 files....
i know there are lots of programs that split mpeg2 and everything else but i can't find one that does mpeg4....
