we all know the battery on iphone 3g runs out pretty quick...yes apple has given us some tips to sustain battery life...but if you keep the iphone attached to the charger while using it (say at your work desk) do you think it could fry or damage the battery?????

Well your not suppose to charge the battery more than 15 hours or else your doing damage. But the phone battery is suppose to last for 200 cycles, so you should wait until the battery is fully drained before recharging.

Charging all day won't cause anything.

And charging the battery for more than 15 hours a day is stupid. Once the battery is charged, it's just going to sit there, and not "over charge". One of our iPhones sat on the dock from when we got home till morning, only taking it out to use. And now months later, it's still fine.
