Hi there

I've added a song to an existing album but cannot fix the order the track appears. Despite being track 17 it appears first before track 1.

Is there any way to fix this? Many thanks

Punch in the album title and/or the artist in the spotlight section of iTunes. This should single out just this album. Highlight the first song and go to get info. Click on the info tab and to the right is a track listing track__of__. Here you can enter the proper track listing. Hope this helps.

Thanks folks but still no luck. All the tracks are set as Track x of 17 but the song still appears at the top the album. Not too important but annoying all the same!

Try one more thing. Select all the songs in the album including the new one then go to Get Info and in the Track number listing just enter 17 in the second box and see if that helps. Ive had to do this myself and have had luck this way.

If nothing else helps, try to group edit the artist and the album name to something completely else, hit OK, select them again and change it back to the original info. Try the same with the other fields that appear to be empty. Maybe that 17th song has a tag the others are missing and therefore it gets displayed at the wrong position, like album artist for example.
