Ive had 3 iphone3g's and they all have serious negative black issues. Is it possible to fix negative black issue with an update? Or am i stuck with the screen i got?

Some of the first gen iPhone's had negative black issues and were fixed in a software update. I'm sure the same applies here.
^ are u sure? i thought negative black was because of the screen?
or is it only when its severe negative black like on the ipod touch that can't be fixed?
