new white iphone, only left speaker works?

hi, I just noticed, that only my left speaker works.

I've tried to play music, video, ringtone(that come with the phone), I let the music play and cover the speaker with my finger, now this must be a defect, just want to comfirm here, I will return it monday.

There's only one speaker on the bottom and one above the screen. Next to the speaker on the bottom is the phone's mic, so you're phone is fine.

thats because theres only one speaker the other is the mic

iPhone 3G only has one speaker.

i have a similar problem, but it's the other way round! Only one micophone works.

I called AT&T when I got the phone thinking it was a defect also and they told me to return it at a apple store
