Earlier today my iphone battery died and the phone turned it self off. About 30 minutes later I plugged it into power to recharge it. Upon turing back on the phone is giving me the "connect to itunes" graphic. It is no longer activated and its only giving me the "slide to make emergency call" graphic. I haven't had the chance to plug it into itunes as I'm not at home right now. This is really weird, anyone know why this happened?

This happened to me when I had to reboot. Luckily my laptop was in the immediate area to fix the problem or I would have been really upset. My phone was unuseable. I'm going to call apple about this since on my line of work, I can't have this happen at an inopportune time.
