iOS Using the SDK to add to the iPhone Calendar

Does anyone know how to add an event to the iphone calendar using the the latest iphone SDK?

Sorry...

It is not possible at the current time.

Apple may be adding this capability in the future, but calendar integration is not available in the SDK at the moment.
 
Any updates on this capability with the 2.2.1 SDK? Couldn't find anything in the release notes.
