iPod touch a question about restoring

if i restore my ipod will i still have 2.0 and all of my apps or will i have to buy it again?
 
it'll have 2.0 even with a restore ( Damn trying to restore it to earlier versions like that have taught me) but no apps. it clears everything like that so make sure you have them on your comp.
 
If you bought them from your ipod make sure you "transfer your prchases from iPod" in itunes. that option should appear in the file or edit drop down menu. at that point they should be on itunes. Otheriwse if you bought them from itunes on your computer then they should be safe.
