Anyone remember this old beast? I had one with an old Mac SE/30 and it worked very well, but only has a SCSI interface. My other printer seems to have died and I'm wondering if there's some kind of SCSI <-> USB connector available to attach this to my PB 800. Any one done this??

The LaserWriter II had a LocalTalk interface.

for the price of adapters like that you can get a good injet printer tha will be better anyways.

This was, in fact, one of the SCSI-based units not the LocalTalk one. I wish it was a LocalTalk one 'cuz then I could use this handy LocalTalk <-> USB adapter I already own! 🙂

About the price -- I agree. Thanks for all the pointers though. It was a great printer and I was just looking for a way to leverage it w/o spendning a ton of cash.
