I hate every single one of the new ones. The old ones from before the iPhone was launched were much cooler, but maybe that was because we were seeing the phone in action for the first time.

pfffft. my iphone doesn't move nearly as fast as that one in the commercial does, even on wifi. the GPS DEFINITELY ain't that fast.

one wonders if they were playing the demonstration video in fast forward.

i love the whole "everyone will like paying half as much" or however they phrase it...however LOADS of people aren't able to get "half as much". i can't wait for everyone to freak out next year when they aren't "eligible" because they got the deal on the 3g this year

yea i agree that these commercials don't really appeal all that much to me. but I mean they are assuming we already know everything about the iphone and just want to display what makes this one different.

I don't like them. I personally think that the "Hello" ad from the oscars last year was one of Apple's best ads ever.

My As* they're probably using Wifi with speeds up to 20 something megabytes/sec... and hacking the icon to make it seem like it says 3G...Nice marketing tools, but they don't fool me.

Stretching the truth will only lead to disappointed users. Does Apple really want to resort to making their products appear snappier than they are to lure the gullible ?

That iPhone is on steroids. Mine isn't nearly that fast! Notice the full battery, lol.

ahahahaha so true.

They have region specific versions of each of the ads. I'm in Canada and I saw "Unslow" earlier today on TV. GPS located in on downtown Toronto, here in Canada.

Also, instead of browsing the New York Times. The user was browsing The Globe and Mail, a very popular Canadian newspaper.

Obviously at the end it also showed the Rogers and Fido logos instead of the At&t logo.

Ads aren't up on apple.ca yet though...

Hmm, to tell you the truth, I really liked them. The style is just like the ads from a year ago, but more upbeat. I'm not quite sure what could be seen as being "worse"...

I agree with most of you, kind of boring ads. I prefer the first round of iPhone ads.

I saw these on Australian TV the other night. But they were a bit different and had an Aussie accent.

They forgot to mention the laggy keyboard, crashes, horrible AT&T 3g coverage, erratic signal strength ... etc.. etc..

Oh and they must have been two feet from the cell site, I have never seen 5 bars with 3g.

But hey, its ok to suck as a phone its not like the device is called the IPHONE.

Ads in Japan!!!!

Apple has released several TV ads in Japan as well for the 3G iPhone.

3-in-1
Music
Real Internet

These are like the original commercials that played in the US combined with the new ads. Too bad you can't get movies or TV shows in Japan yet.
