iPod touch other in iTunes

just plugged in iPod touch and saw I now have 4.41gb in other in iTunes, and nothing under my music or movies category.

How do I get rid of the "other"

Do you have pictures on your iPod? Did you jailbreak it and install software from the installer? If so, that's where the 'other' comes from. Delete the software you don't want from the installer.
 
Good to hear the issue's been resolved. =)
It's strange, I've never heard of a non jailbroken iPod or iPhone with a similar problem.
