anyone noticed this yet?

I have an older speakerdock(inmotion m11)

When it is running on the wall adapter i to wont charge the iphone 3g.

And It will only play IF:

1. airplane mode is on

2. Airplane mode off, WIFI ON and connected to network

If I leave airplane mode off and wifi off, the thing sqwaks somthing aweful when I get the 3g near it.

Although when using method #2 the speakers will go all crapazoid if someone tries to call you while playing.

its awesome for Pandora in the garage/back yard. It is getting me by untill I get a new speakerdock made for the 3g

Interesting. Noticed something similar... I have an I-Fusion speaker/dock and when I plug my iPhone 3G in, it won't charge at all and won't play unless in Airplane mode.

I guess this is why the iPhone suggests airport mode when you plug it into non supported accessories
