help program universal remote

I have a GE universal remote and a GE television however the GE brand of tv's is not listed in the code library that came with the remote. I've looked up how to install the remote manually but no luck. can anyone help me out? thanks.
 
A little more info is needed. Model of the TV and the remote. Yes its universal, but there should be a number for it too.
