Hello everybody...so I took in my MacBook to my local Apple store's genius bar. They have checked my MacBook for a 2nd logic board replacement.
They figured that the non-working keyboard/trackpad had nothing to do w/ the firmware update. Therefore, at this time they are replacing the logic board for the 2nd time.
I'm a bit scared since my warranty runs out in December. Who's to say that I won't have to have another logicboard replacement in January... Oh well...
BTW...they are also replacing the topcase due to the cracks in the palmrests...
It's a waiting game...hopefully I get my baby back soon!
