I recently had to wipe my laptop and start over.
I copied my entire "my music" with Itunes subdirectory to a external drive and copied it back into the new directory when system XP was re-installed.
I installed Itunes and now all the music and Apps where removed from my Itouch with a "not authorized for this computer"

what do i have to do to fix this?

go back to the itunes store and under your account options, active your computer/ipod to be authorized for use.

Simply log into the iTunes Store, and that should authorize the computer and iPods.
