My Dad has an old iMac (G3, 233 MGHz) running Mac OS 8.6. We recently got a "Logitech Cordless Click! Plus" mouse that said it would run under Mac OS 8.6 and it does, kind of. The mouse works as far as moving the pointer around the screen and clicking using the left mouse button like normal, but the software and control panel that came with the mouse does not recognize the mouse and does not allow me to assign the other buttons or use the scroll wheel. Upon a call to Logitech, the only thing they recommended was to update the "USB card support: at Apple's website. I believe I am using USB 1.2 (according to System Profiler). I am stumped and am just curious if anyone out there can help us out.

Thank you!
