Lightbox2
Hello I got Lightbox2 working for a webpage but it added like 200k, probably for features I don't need. I've read that you can take out features to get a more minimal implementation but I can't find out much about this. Anyone have a link to a guide or something that talks about this. I'd like to get the file size down as low as possible.
I tried getting jQueryLightbox to work as it's much smaller but I couldn't get it to work and couldn't find a guide for beginners about it, anyone have a link for this as well? Thanks |

Maybe try Slimbox
If you really wanna have some fun this site lists about every lightbox clone and similar type of modal windows you would ever want or need: http://planetozh.com/projects/lightbox-clones/ I personally like: http://fancy.klade.lv/ or http://www.nickstakenburg.com/projects/lightview/ (this one even has a built in automated slideshow)

Yes good point - they have a series of licenses available depending on use. We've used it a couple times (with license) and it's been fabulous, especially in gallery situations.
