I just updated to a new version not 30 minutes ago. There's also another thread on this already.

Maybe they changed the program name.

They were going to change it to "Now Playing," which is the name that comes up on the welcome screen of the latest version. But a search for "Now Playing" comes up empty too.

Speaking of the app, it's crashing more than ever for me now -- can't even get it open for 2 seconds before it goes back to my homescreen. So hopefully they're addressing this bug now...

Did you upgrade to their most recent release before the one that was supposably released today? Because the 1.2 release has been running without crashing at all for me, and the only problem that I have with it is that it will not find more theaters even when I expand my search radius, it only comes up with the ones that are within 10 miles.

But I heard that they were going to have to change the name of the app due to copyright issues or something, which may be why it is down right now.

And checking for updates doesn't yield anything new, unless if you just got the update that was released several days ago.

Over at the author's topic on arstechnica (here), they don't know why it was removed from sale either.
