He's right about the CD Walkman thing, I tried giving our old one away, no go. Try giving it away to a teenager and observe the look of disgust. Everyone wants an iPod or is committed to that path, the same way people who don't even have DVD players yet refuse to purchase VHS movies.
I guess I will hold on to our walkman, I am sure my future kids will marvel at the curiousity of it.

What's great is that at 40 a guy can afford to go out and buy a Powerbook and iPod as frivilous expenses. Only 11 more years to go. Woo-Hoo
