Link: iTunes DRM 'cracked' for GNU/Linux -- still seems to only allow those who own the songs to play them... but now they can play them under Linux on their PC.

The article says that the code has been added to VLC. I would guess that the next Mac version of VLC will support these "protected" files too.

This doesn't really... 'Do much' you still would have to have paid for the files.

I mean.. it plays the files... how are you gonna get the files any other way?

Exactly ... now it can just be played on a Linux box
