Wireless mouse battery cover

I'm having serious trouble getting the battery comparment cover to open on the Apple Wireless Mouse. Are there any tips on getting the little switch to move properly so that it latches open? Thanks so much if you can help.

sure, all you do is you turn the mouse over, so that you can read the words in the middle. then you just push the lever thing down and it pops open. its a litle tricky, since its different than other batttery latches.
