I've got some cdrws and i want to know how to use them to re write on them.

How do i erase and rewrite?

I think once you re-write on them, it automatically erases the data on it. I'm not totally sure though since I haven't actually done this before.

If you're using panther you'll need to open Disk Utility located in Applications»Utilities and select the erase tab, the rest should be easy to work out yourself. If you're using Jaguar or earlier you could use the Disk Copy app located in the same folder...

you can do a quick erase via Toast, but you have to rewrite with toast. I haven't used the other option, which i suppose is a normal erase.

I don't believe that you can just continue burning onto it, I think that you have to erase using either Disk Utility or Toast.
