My Custom iPhone car dock

I made this billet aluminum dock to hold my iPhone securely in my '05 Toyota Tacoma. This dock is 2 pieces. The end cap clamps down on the connector and holds it solid. The dock is made to work with my zCover. The phone fits real secure. 4 bolts secure the dock to the center console from underneath, so I had to drill some holes in the center console. The cable connects to my Eclipse iPod interface adapter. I can control the music and movies through my Eclipse AVN-6610 radio head unit. It also charges the iPhones battery.

What do you guys think?

That is SUPER nice. Good job. Wish i had the skills to do that.

CNC aluminum? pretty nice. if my interior was brushed aluminum and not black i'd do just that. im too lazy to paint though. :p

Damn that is a nice dock, and I love all of the other custom mods that you did to your truck.

Thanks guys. If you don't like brushed or polished bare aluminum you could always have it anodized or powder coated.
