Mini ipod size

Ok, I'm being a little facietious here but bear with me 😀
I've just taken a look at the real-life photos of the mini ipod here:

I don't know what the standard business card size is in the US, but the mini ipod is substantially larger than my cards! And to be honest it doesn't seem to be dramatically smaller than the white ipods, which are pretty small as it is.

standard business card size here is 2" x 3.5". the minipods are 2" x 3.6".

how big are your business cards?
 
Personally, I still don't understand the need for a smaller iPod. It was small, it still is small. I'd love a bigger battery in my iPod.

Doesn't Dell or Napster have a 16 hour battery life?
