Forum Creating Programs
Hi,
I'm a co-owner of a small Mac software company and was looking for a good piece of software that I may be able to use to easily make and manage forums on my website. I'm not concerned wether it is shareware or freeware but I haven't been able to find anything good like this for Mac OS X. Thanks |

Something like Macrumors? I wish I could remember the name of what this sort of forum is built on.

Mac is built on Unix so most of the forum software out there will run on it. Very little is Windows specific actually. You shouldn't have any trouble locating forum software.

I use SMF (simplemachines.org) on the server side. It's free, easy, works very well, and has a TON of themes.

hostgator is a good hosting provider too. They give you all the bells and whistles, including shell access. I recommend them. (No I don't work for them.)
