Fire at Apple Headquarters Tuesday Night

CBS5 has video from a fire that broke out at the Valley Green 6 building on Apple campus in Cupertino, California. No injuries were reported.

One reader provides this Google map which pinpoints the building (above the "B" pin).

Film on channel 11/KNBC (NBC Bay Area) is just airing. As soon as it shows up on their website I'll post it. (Sorry no updates to their website, but the flames were pretty big)

here's what happened

the fire happened around 10 and they were working on a a/c unit and something went wrong and it was a 3 alarm fire that's why you see 66 firefighters and it was in the research and development building no one was hurt and there's was at least 100 people on the campus but they said there was a lot of damage to the building!! I live in San jose and the news is on so I'm watching no sign of Steve

Isn't this where MobileMe is administered and the staff is headquartered?

i was wondering why there were choppers around. I was watching phelps win his 11th gold when the news came up. Had to walk 5 blocks to see those many trucks and firefighters.

So did the firefighters have to sign an NDA before they were allowed into the building.

Glad no-one was hurt...

Well, looks like that special Michael Phelps edition of the Macbook has been cancelled due to the fire....

Shame, I was going to get that for collage, so I can experiment on how many girls would get their attention on the Mac....

Well, at least the new iPod touch is safe.... wait, that's been delayed as well, since it's the research and development section went up in iSmoke....

and yes, the firefighters DID HAVE TO SIGN THE NDA before fighting the fire....
