Increase in ipod touch memory?
Has any one found out a way to increase the ipod touch's internal memory? such as an external hard drive or soldering a bigger memory chip into it? is it even possible because i want to buy one and it seems a waste with such little memory and the many apps thanks

An external hard drive would be pretty big, and I don't think it is feasible to solder in a bigger memory chip...you seen the price of flash memory?
Also, the apps are only a few KB's for the most part. If that is you worry, it's not a problem!

I don't see why you couldn't open er' up and put in a bigger flash drive (if you backed up all the files on the current one and put them on it before you put it in the iPod) It wouldn't be easy. and would require soldering, and taking it apart (which is no walk in the park XD) I'm not sure about putting in a bigger flash drive than 32gb that may cause problems. haha
Not something I would try myself (at least without knowing it "could" work).
If you're asking on here, most likely not something you want to try.
