It was there around 8:30 EST in the US Store. I installed it, it was working great, then tried again just now and it immediately crashed back to the home screen. So I uninstalled it, and now it's gone from the App store. Did Apple pull the big red lever?

8:30 EST?? I must have checked it at 8:35, and it wasn't there. I will be soooo bummed if this doesn't come out now, and I missed it by mere minutes!

their blog says live in europe only right now. so, looks like i'll keep refreshing until its in the app store. i had it when it was in the installer.app and it rocked.

wow, that seems like a pretty cool app. i have never heard of it (because i've never had any type of smart phone i guess) but definitely something i will download and try (mainly because its free)

What worries me is that sometimes new apps don't show up on the phone's app store right away. I won't be back near my computer for most of the day, and I'm hoping the limited free downloads aren't used up by the time I'm able to get to it!

Ah well...I'd happily pay for something like this too anyway, so no biggie. As long as it remains in the app store, and it's not another NetShare situation where it gets pulled!

It's back! Just downloaded it again after having to delete it earlier.
Edit: Still not working for me. I open it, 2 seconds later it crashes.

Yeah, thanks for the heads up - greatly appreciated! Does anybody know if it works with podcasts or videos/movies? I'm guessing it doesn't but I could have sworn I heard it would.

should work with audio podcasts. but it doesn't support video streaming yet. neither does the desktop client though.

someone just posted on here that theres an app fro your cpu that will make your computer not sleep.. insomniax or something.. for macs only though

No luck. Can't get past the "Connecting to libraries..." screen. After 5 minutes or so, I get a "Login Failed - Cannot connect to Simplify Media server" error.

Troubleshooter in the desktop app says it's working fine.

Any tips?

Probably want to start with the basic first. Is Sharing your media enabled in iTunes?

That might have been it. Re-starting both apps, re-scanning libraries.

Bummer. Still no luck.

Still getting "Login Failed - Cannot connecto to Simplify Media server".

did you make sure that your itunes is set to share your library?? you NEED to be able to SHARE.

Also, yes, the desktop NEEDS to be running.

If this streamed video I'd pay $20 for it, but as a music only its not worth 4 bucks. I have currently 350megs of music and 7 gigs video on my iphone, plus about 80 gigs more on my home computer.
