Hi
In Windows if we click on the internet explorer in the Taskbar . Another new window will open up. do we have that option in Mac.
Cause when i click on safari -it is opening the same page which was opened before.

If you click-and-hold the Safari icon in your dock, a menu will appear, from which you can select "New Window."

Or hit cmd - n = new window (cmd = apple key/next to spacebar)

cmd:

When you want to open an extra window in Safari, click on safari with both the space bar and either the command key (as shown in the previous post), or the control key; the menu that opens then offers you the option of a new window. Cheers.

I however use tabs, but for new window, its cmd + n for new window. and if you use safari 4 develoepr preview, free download, you can set new tabs/windows to open with a specific page or blank.

File > New Tab is organized
File > New Window is messy

New Tabs:
