I work at the library at the school that is giving away the iphones to all incoming freshmen and They are giving them away today. There are a couple thousand iphones sitting in a back room...

I personally hate the idea. They jacked my "technology enhancement" fee up 40%, and I am not even getting a phone. Its kind of insane.

I remember back in school they gave away imacs (those old clamshell ones) to everyone in the year group below mine, and I was cursing the fact that I wasn't born a year later =)
