iPod touch Battery: Classic vs touch

I don't use Auto-Brightness, especially when I at work for twelve hours. I keep it low, like at 20%.

I use my 32GB touch like my 80GB at work and I can't even get ten hours. I would say I use it 60 (Music, Podcast) & 40 (Movies, TV Shows).

Is it Defective? I looked at the Specs @ Apple, it claims I should get 22 hours of Music and 5 hours of Video.

You'll get 5 hours of video usage before a recharge OR 22 hours of Music Playback.

Sounds about right, especially if the screen and wifi are on. The battery in the Classic wins hand down.

Having just bought the 80 gig classic, and owning the touch since last September, the classic battery life seems to last much longer.

Of course the classic doesn't have to deal with wi-fi issues or the use from all those fun applications the touch can perform....just enjoy them!!

The classic has got much better battery life, but with the touch and all its apps i really don't mind
