There have been many threads in relation to the fact that one of the speakers on the bottom of the iPhone does not work.

The reason for this is that there is only one speaker on the bottom of the iPhone. The other hole that people often confuse for a speaker is the microphone.

Even though these pictures depict the 3G iPhone the same applies to the original iPhone.

iPhone 4 only one speaker working...

Now that I have you attention, I just to let you guys know that the bottom mic and speaker have switched from the pervious iPhones.

To me this is a good thing since every time i hold my phone with one hand, its my right hand and my pinky covered up the left speaker. So good move Apple and mods, you might want to update the sticky thread.
