Installing and using Perl modules with CPAN
I installed Mac::Growl using the command `cpan -i Mac::Growl` and can't find it. It seemed to copy files to directories that don't exist. It said the installation was successful. I saw the correct results of the test suite. When I try to use it, I get an error message saying that it, "Can't find module Mac::Growl in @INC." How can I make CPAN install modules into directories in @INC? When I use CPAN on Debian, it just works. Why doesn't it just work on Mac?
I'm using perl v5.8.8, the version included with a fully updated Mac OS X Leopard. |
