UIView and animated gifs

Heyho,

i have an animated gif setup for an UIView-instance to display, but it only shows the first frame.
Maybe there's a flag to set or anything else to teach the view to be unstill.

is there someone with experience 'bout that out there ?

PS: i would like to avoid listing all single pics in an Array 'cause it'll change from time to time and the code should not then anymore

thx'n'greetz from europe
