I have around 2% of my minis hard drive left and I want to move the pictures in iphoto to my external drive so that I have more space on my main drive. How do I do this? I already have my mp3's on the external just need to move the photos over..

Assuming you're using iLife '08...

Simply move the iPhoto Library file to desired location on the hard drive. When you start up iPhoto, it will tell you that it can't find your library file, and ask if you want to browse for it. Choose "Browse..." and locate the file.

The iPhoto library file can be found here:

username\Pictures\iPhoto Library

Thank you.... but one question.. I have two user names on the mac and both share the same location for photos, so I assume the other username would have to find the new folder and assign it the same way I would?
