I'm currently working on an app that works with google-maps trough the UIwebView. Every now and then however instead of loading google-maps, the telcos proxy-server (or some page) comes up asking the user if he wants image optimalisation to improve speeds.
Now this wouldn't be a problem, if only you were able to click inside the webuiview, but you can't.. You can only see the page, not interact with it to say "no damnit, i dont want image optimalisation, i got 3g!" The user can temporarily solve the problem by quiting the application, loading a page in safari and then reopening the application, But it aint pretty.

Does anyone know of a possible solution?
