iPod Music off iPod Touch

Hey guys, I looked at the users guide to getting music off your iPod touch, however, it said that no such method currently exists for the iPod Touch, is this still the case?
 
Apple designed iTunes and iPods to sync only one way (iTunes to iPod) probably to prevent music sharing/piracy.

There are some suggestions on this thread.

If that doesn't work try searching the forums using MRoogle.
