Audio on Mac questions
I've got 2 questions today, barely related:
1.) Is there an iPod accessory out there that connects to the dock interface, and has stereo (RCA) connections at the end? Maybe with AC power too? I'd like to skip the dock+1/8th-to-stereo process. 2.) I know that the PowerMac G5 has a nice 5.1 surround sound capabilitity, but how can I add that to older Macs? Like the Cube or the PowerMac G4? I am looking to replace my Athlon 550 as my DVD-playing machine in my room, but want to keep 5.1 connected to my Klipsch ProMedias. Are there any decent 5.1 sound cards compatible with the PMG4? I know the best solution is just a DVD player, but I also need something to connect to my SCSI scanner.
