Going Crazy trying to add a background image to a TableView
So I have seen some posts in this forum, I have googled it...and there are some suggestions out there...and I know people are doing it because I see it in their apps, but for some reason, I can't get a simple background image to sit behind a table view.
I setup the Table View as a grouped table view. I have successfully set the table view's background color to 'clearColor', or even some other colors. When I set it to 'clearColor'. I just get a white background which is what I expect.
However, when I go into interface builder, and set a background image on my view, and layer it behind my table view...I still get a white background even with the background color set to 'clearColor'
I have tried all sorts of things, and it either comes up white, or it crashes...
Are there any sure fire methods out there for getting this to work?
