Hi Everyone,

I'm pretty sure I know the answer to my question but just want some confirmation.

I bought a Macbook a few weeks ago and it came with 2GB of RAM. I want to go to 4GB as I found a great deal on Crucial memory from Fry's Electronics. My question is, can I use the 2GB that my Macbook came with in my fiance's Dell laptop? I'm pretty sure the answer is "Yes."

Thanks for your help!

If the laptop is DDR2 then yes. If you dont know what kind of ram it has then just compare the sticks, if the slot is in the same location as the macbook ram then its DDR2.

It all depends on what computer your fiance has or to put it more bluntly, what Ram it uses. If you were asking, yes, Ram used in Macs is the same as Ram used in PCs.

Better, post what computer you fiancé owns and the someone can give you definite yes or no.
