Problem: Picture Clarity

Im using a VGA cable to the PC slot on the back of the TV...The desktop shows up but the picture looks zoomed in...I also tried DVI to HDMI and I got the desktop picture to come up but none of the folders on my desktop..What am I doing wrong?

Did you adjust your display settings in system preferences?
Make sure you set it to the resolution of your TV for best results.

Likely the Resolution on the Laptop is greater than that of the TV. Simply either adjust the resolution down, or you are in extend desktop mode, in which case everthing is normal. If you want to see the built-in desktop on the TV, change to Mirroring Mode.

You can use the second screen to watch movies through QT or DVDPlayer by simply dragging the window to the other screen and making if full screen.
