Hi,

I've got an iPhone and a nice iMac with a version of Tiger on it. Fine. However, I also have a little, creaking iBook G4 with OS X 10.3.9 on it. I would really like to sync my iPhone with it.

So I tried the hack where you edit SystemVersion.plist and changed the system version to 10.4.10. I've also changed the code to a variety of codes I've tracked down on the internet - all of which are, I believe, for 10.4.10 (85165, 9B18). However, whenever I've changed the SystemVersion.plist and checked with the 'About Mac' bit to make sure it's worked - iTunes fails to open :(

I've re-installed iTunes but it hasn't improved matters.

Anyone have a better solution?

(NB I'm aware there are other syncing options, I just like the iPhone version best!)
(NBB: I know I could upgrade, but I'm not it is worth the expense and my ibook is slowing down - I'm afraid going higher than Panther might give it seizures)
