jailbreak iphone 2g 2.0.3 google map locate me problem

1st gen iphone with 2.0.2, jailbroken using pwn 2.0.3.1. Everything seems to work now with one exception... the locateme button in google maps causes it to spin for ever. I have to reset springboard.

Havent seen anyone else report this problem.
