Mid-Atlantic data outage - Post here if you have no data

Wednesday, 9-3: It appears there is a very large swath affected by no data from the AT&T network.

So far there are reports from as far north as Boston and as far West as St. Louis. Hampton Roads/Norfolk is the southern-most location reported to have no data.

Post your location if you have no data.

EDIT: This is for both 3G and Edge having no data.

EDIT 9:46 AM EDT: There are reports that some people have been able to call AT&T and get a credit.

EDIT: 1:33 PM EDT: Service appears to be at least partially restored for most affected areas.

Reuters story quotes AT&T spokesman as saying it was a 'routing issue.'

EDIT: 2:49 PM: Forum poster quotes AT&T CSR as saying they are authorized to give credits of up to 50% of the monthly data plan charge.

No data in Boston on EDGE or 3G. Interestingly, I was just able to get on the web on an at&t blackberry over EDGE. Strange.

aargh, that's why i got no traffic info in boston after 7:30AM. still down. funny that i have fully signal strength and the Edge symbol is displayed. last email i got was 7:04 AM.

No data on edge or 3g here also. Alexandria, VA down to Indian Head, MD. Also confirmed by a friend with another iphone 3g, no data for him either.

Does anyone know someone with a non-iphone to see if data is down for them also?

Blackberry curve has data in Boston. My iPhone does not.

hmmm...I just text my wife who has data access (email, edge). We both have 1st gen iPhones, but she is still rocking 1.1.4 and I have 2.0.2.

FYI: This is in the Carlisle/Harrisburg, PA area...
