It is PC2700Ram i want to buy, and right now system profiler says this is whats in it:

DIMM1/J31:

Size: 128 MB
Type: DDR SDRAM
Speed: PC2700U-25330

My only concern is that the ebay page says its not compatible, but it has working 2700 in it, so would it work? your help would be much appreciated.

I can confirm for you that PC2700 WILL work inside a 1.0 GHz iBook. I had 1.25 GB of PC2700 for a number of years and it was fine. Just make sure it is SO-DIMM.
