Hey all,
On my new (to me) eMac I have a free ram slot and can easily put another 512 mb of ram into it. The mac currently has 512 mb of PC2700 DDR SDRAM and I put another stick of PC3200 DDR SDRAM in it figuring that it would simply be clocked down automatically to the other stick's speed. However, when I started the machine up it still showed only the original stick of ram. Is it possible that I didn't push the stick in enough or will these (USB 2.0) eMacs not accept anything faster than PC2700?
