(Video Editing) External Hard Drive Solution?

I'd like to find an external hard drive solution for use as a scratch disk with Final Cut Studio.

Can anyone recommend a good 1TB FW800 drive setup for video editing?

It's a little pricy compared to a regular drive, but it looks amazing. I plan on getting one later in the year. Keeps everything safe as well.

The Drobo is too expensive for this application. Any non-redundant 1TB drives/systems that are recommended?

Know of any FW800 enclosure comparisons/recommendations? I'm Googling without much luck.

This is the enclosure that I like, I don't own one myself, but my friend who does video editing does, and hasn't had any problems with this case.

That one doesn't have FW800.

Have a Rosewill USB2/FW400/FW800/eSATA enclosure that has a Samsung 1 TB drive in it. Works really nicely. I use mostly the FW400 and eSATA.

The IEEE or 1394 ports are the same as FW.
